The Bellringer Contest is for short prose of a selected genre every year. It rotates:

            2023: Fiction

            2024: Nonfiction

            2025: Prose Poetry

            2026: Fiction

            2027: Nonfiction

Submit your best work under 1,000 words  in the year's genre to carillonsubmissions@gmail.com by November 15th.

The winner will receive $100 and publication in The Carillon. All award submissions will be considered for general publication.

A guest judge will select the winner.

Submissions should not have your name on the file as they will be read blind. Please include a cover letter with your name, contact information, and the title of your piece. Please include the title of your piece and page numbers in the top right corner of the manuscript. We prefer Times New Roman or similar fonts.
