"The Celebration of Root Vegetables" by Koree Schueler

Koree Schueler was born and raised in Kearney, NE. She is currently pursuing her Masters in English with an emphasis in creative writing at UNK. She works as a Graduate Assistant for the English department. She has written a collection of short stories such as "Tubers" and "College Potential" and had several pieces published in previous editions of The Carillon. She is particularly interested in experimental fiction, and flash fiction. After graduation, Koree hopes to move on to a PhD program. In her free time, Koree enjoys hiking and exploring nature.
